Lockdown Birds! (Lockdown Project no.1)

Kia Ora! So as you all know, it is now the lockdown. That does stop us from meeting friends in real life. But it doesn't stop us from having fun. Recently it has been my birthday, and I got a birdfeeder set. It was good that I got it because in the Lockdown all the birds go crazy, because humans go out less. We have had two little wax-eyes, coming to the feeders at least four or three times every day. We have named them Mr and Mrs Waxie. They seem to be mates, so no surprise there. We heard from a friend they come in large groups, so maybe there are more of them in our frontyard tree. We can tell them apart, because one is rather plump, (or just has very fluffy feathers) and one has a longer beak. They love to feed on fat and lard, and are mostly seen scavenging for food in winter. Here is a photo of our feeders:
Whats a project you are doing in lockdown? We have three, and I shall explain them in other posts. Blog you later, Aoibheann! 😋

The Chase! (Maths Week)

Salut! That means 'hi there' in French. I could say bonjour, but yeah. So this week we did The Chase, but in the Maths style. The Chase is a TV show, and it's like about heaps of questions. There is this person called ' The Chaser', and they NEVER get the questions wrong. So we did this in our math books, and we added up points. I was away on monday, so I got 116 points! On our 'The Chase Sheets', we have pictures of ladders. We colour in where we are, and where The Chaser is. If we get to the end, we win. If the chaser catches us, we lose. We do a warm up, then a head-to-head. If you get 8 questions right in the warm up, you write that in the middle of the ladder, but if you want more points, you can times it by ten, and write it just above the middle. So I would get 80 points. But, it makes you closer to The Chaser. If you want to get closer to to end, then you write it just below the middle. But then, you would get only 0.8 points. So if you need a picture, to make it more understandable, then heres a photo of mine.

Wings of Fire! (Free writing).

Kia Orana! I love dragons and that makes me obsessed with a book series going by the name of 'Wings of Fire'. It includes different tribes, contents, and even different living styles! In Pyrrhia (the more popular continent), they have seven tribes. There are Mudwings, Sandwings, Skywings, Seawings (Seawings are my personal fave), Icewings, Rainwings, and Nightwings. Here is some nightwing history: They could once read minds, and foretell the furture, but no longer! The books were written by Tui T. Sutherland. If you want more information, then go search it up (IN YOUR FREE TIME). So we got to do free writing (a subject I love), and I wanted to make a fanmade story. So here it is I guess!
(ZOOM IN TO READ) What are some sentences I could improve? (By the way it's not done). Blog you later, Aoibheann.
